Alison Frantz Spends Summer Studying Abroad in Ecuador

Alison Frantz, of Abbeville, Georgia, spent the summer of 2014 living and learning in Ecuador.

Valdosta State University's Center for International Programs offers a rich and diverse Study Abroad Program for students who wish to travel and study overseas. Frantz was among 19 students who spent three weeks studying Spanish in Cuenca, Ecuador; visiting Quito, Ingapirca, Pumapungo, and other places of historic and cultural significance; living with a host family; experiencing a new culture; participating in cooking, dancing, and painting classes; and building relationships with peers from around the world.
