Six students from Valdosta State University's Harley Langdale Jr. College of Business Administration recently participated in a RNMKRS College Sales Skills Competition. This was VSU's first time competing in the global virtual sales competition, and VSU finished in eighth place overall out of more than 60 colleges and universities.

A four-student team from Valdosta State University's Harley Langdale Jr. College of Business Administration recently earned second place honors and $7,000 in scholarship money during Aprio's 2022 Case Competition for Underrepresented Minorities.

Madisyn Chandler Earls of Macon, Georgia, is the recipient of the Fall 2022 President's Award for Academic Excellence for the James L. and Dorothy H. Dewar College of Education and Human Services at Valdosta State University. She graduates summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in English and a Bachelor of Science in Education in Secondary Education.

Taylor Marie Gray of Valdosta, Georgia, is the recipient of the Fall 2022 President's Award for Academic Excellence for the College of the Arts at Valdosta State University. She graduates summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Art and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Art Education.

Hanna Marie Yeager of Hahira, Georgia, is the recipient of the Fall 2022 President's Award for Academic Excellence for the College of Nursing and Health Sciences at Valdosta State University. She graduates summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Health Science and an Honors College Certificate.

Noel Alfredo Rojas Galviz of Valdosta, Georgia, is the recipient of the Fall 2022 President's Award for Academic Excellence for the College of Science and Mathematics at Valdosta State University. He graduates summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems, and a Minor in Applied Statistics. He previously earned an Associate of Arts from VSU in 2020.

Laura Anne Northup of Mulberry, Florida, is the recipient of the Fall 2022 President's Award for Academic Excellence for the College of Humanities and Social Sciences at Valdosta State University. She graduates summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in English with a concentration in literature, language, and letters; a Minor in Women's and Gender Studies; and an Honors College Certificate.

Elina Aleksandrovna Babkina of Conyers, Georgia, is the recipient of the Fall 2022 President's Award for Academic Excellence for the Harley Langdale Jr. College of Business Administration at Valdosta State University. She graduates summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Economics, a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance, a Minor in Business Analytics, a Minor in Accounting, and an Honors College Certificate.

Mileena R. Page, a Valdosta State University student from Conyers, Georgia, earned prestigious position paper honors at the 17th annual Florida Model United Nations conference in Gainesville.

Emily Elizabeth Culpepper of Lake Park, Georgia, is the recipient of the 2022 James L. and Dorothy H. Dewar College of Education and Human Services Highest Academic Achievement Award at Valdosta State University.

Juan Vargas, an international student from Bogota, Colombia, is the recipient of the 2022 Outstanding Student in Business Award at Valdosta State University.
