Hanna Marie Yeager of Hahira, Georgia, is the recipient of the Fall 2022 President's Award for Academic Excellence for the College of Nursing and Health Sciences at Valdosta State University. She graduates summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Health Science and an Honors College Certificate.

Noel Alfredo Rojas Galviz of Valdosta, Georgia, is the recipient of the Fall 2022 President's Award for Academic Excellence for the College of Science and Mathematics at Valdosta State University. He graduates summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems, and a Minor in Applied Statistics. He previously earned an Associate of Arts from VSU in 2020.

Laura Anne Northup of Mulberry, Florida, is the recipient of the Fall 2022 President's Award for Academic Excellence for the College of Humanities and Social Sciences at Valdosta State University. She graduates summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in English with a concentration in literature, language, and letters; a Minor in Women's and Gender Studies; and an Honors College Certificate.

Elina Aleksandrovna Babkina of Conyers, Georgia, is the recipient of the Fall 2022 President's Award for Academic Excellence for the Harley Langdale Jr. College of Business Administration at Valdosta State University. She graduates summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Economics, a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance, a Minor in Business Analytics, a Minor in Accounting, and an Honors College Certificate.

Taylore G. Harrison, a Valdosta State University student from Hahira, Georgia, earned prestigious position paper awards at the 17th annual Florida Model United Nations conference in Gainesville.

Valdosta State University is proud to offer scholarships to more than 350 currently enrolled, incoming first-year, and transfer students for the first half of the 2022-2023 academic year. These scholarships were established by private donors and are awarded each year by VSU Foundation Inc. to students with excellent academic achievement and/or students with financial need. He will graduate summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Minor in Chemistry during VSU's 233rd Commencement at 7 p.m. on Saturday, May 7, on the Front Lawn.
