Elina Aleksandrovna Babkina of Conyers, Georgia, is the recipient of the Fall 2022 President's Award for Academic Excellence for the Harley Langdale Jr. College of Business Administration at Valdosta State University. She graduates summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Economics, a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance, a Minor in Business Analytics, a Minor in Accounting, and an Honors College Certificate.

Taylore G. Harrison, a Valdosta State University student from Hahira, Georgia, earned prestigious position paper awards at the 17th annual Florida Model United Nations conference in Gainesville.

Valdosta State University is proud to offer scholarships to more than 350 currently enrolled, incoming first-year, and transfer students for the first half of the 2022-2023 academic year. These scholarships were established by private donors and are awarded each year by VSU Foundation Inc. to students with excellent academic achievement and/or students with financial need. Each recipient represents the high standards of the university.

More than 270 students were named to Valdosta State University's Summer 2022 Dean's List. To qualify for Dean's List at VSU, students must achieve a semester grade point average of 3.50 or higher on nine or more semester hours with an institutional grade point average of 3.00 or higher. Please note that developmental studies, transient, and graduate students are not eligible for Dean's List status.

Nick M. Rosatti of Hahira, Georgia is the recipient of the 2022 Male Student-Athlete Academic Award at Valdosta State University. This is his second time earning this honor.

Logan Mason Kraus of Melbourne, Florida, is the recipient of the 2022 Male Student-Athlete Academic Award at Valdosta State University.

Triston Lee Carter of Lake Park, Georgia, is the recipient of the 2022 Outstanding Senior College of Nursing and Health Sciences Student Award at Valdosta State University.

Emily Elizabeth Culpepper of Lake Park, Georgia, is the recipient of the 2022 James L. and Dorothy H. Dewar College of Education and Human Services Highest Academic Achievement Award at Valdosta State University.

Juan Vargas, an international student from Bogota, Colombia, is the recipient of the 2022 Outstanding Student in Business Award at Valdosta State University.

Kevin John Eppes Jr. of Valdosta, Georgia, is the recipient of the 2022 Outstanding Student in Science and Mathematics Award at Valdosta State University.

Lindsay Nicole Miller of Chipley, Florida, is the recipient of the 2022 Outstanding Student in the Arts Award at Valdosta State University.

Georgia J. Wynn of Valdosta, Georgia, is the recipient of the 2022 Bartram Award for Intellectual Exploration at Valdosta State University.

Andrew J. McCord of Roxboro, North Carolina, is the recipient of the 2022 Most Outstanding AS300 Cadet Award at Valdosta State University.

Asia Mya Evans of Bronx, New York, is the recipient of the 2022 Clare Philips Martin Scholarship at Valdosta State University.

Mya Curry of Blackshear, Georgia, is the recipient of the 2022 American Association of University Women Award at Valdosta State University.
