Erinika R. Taliaferro will spend three months interning with the United States Air Force Office of the Judge Advocate General (JAG) at the Pentagon in Washington, D.C., this summer. The 22-year-old looks forward to helping the office realize its mission to "deliver professional, candid, independent counsel and full spectrum legal capabilities to command and the warfighter."

Michael LaGon's "They Pee Weird" and "Forms of Deterrence," both 17-inch by 22-inch pen and ink drawings, won second place at the 18th annual Juried Student Art Competition sponsored by Valdosta State University's Department of Art. The Valdosta State University Bass Fishing Team's Max Gresham and Cody Cleary have earned the right to compete in the 2017 Fishing League Worldwide (FLW) College National Championship.
